Abrocoma Rodents: Species, Characteristics, and Habitat

Abrocoma is a genus of rodents in the family Abrocomidae. The animals are commonly known as "cavy-like" or "chinchilla-like" rats, and they are found in South America. There are currently 13 species recognized within the genus, which are:
