Alyattes: The Powerful King of Ancient Lydia

Alyattes (also spelled Aliaattes or Aliattes) was a king of the ancient kingdom of Lydia, who ruled from approximately 619 BC to 560 BC. He was the son and successor of King Sadyattes and the father of King Croesus.
