Amoco: A Legacy of Oil and Gas Excellence
Amoco was a brand of oil and gas company that was founded in 1889 as the Standard Oil Company of Indiana. It was one of the largest oil companies in the United States, and it was known for its distinctive logo featuring a stylized letter "A" with an oval shape around it. The company was acquired by BP in 1994 and the Amoco brand was phased out.
