Chlidanope (Greek: Χλιδανόπη) is a small town and a former municipality in the Laconia regional unit, Peloponnese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Sparti, of which it is a municipal unit. The town is situated on the eastern foothills of Mount Taygetus, at an altitude of approximately 650 meters above sea level.
