Chlidanope (Greek: Χλιδανόπη) is a small town and a former municipality in the Laconia regional unit, Peloponnese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Sparti, of which it is a municipal unit. The town is situated on the eastern foothills of Mount Taygetus, at an altitude of approximately 650 meters above sea level. It is known for its natural beauty, its historic architecture and its traditional local products such as honey, olive oil and wine.
