Exploring the Ruins of Moria: A Symbol of Decline and Fall

Moria is a vast underground network of tunnels and chambers that was built by the Dwarves of Khazad-dûm in the Second Age. It was once a great and beautiful underground city, but it was abandoned and fell into ruin after the Dwarves were forced to flee to the Blue Mountains.
