Jan Hendrik Dembowski Crater on the Moon
Dembowski is a crater on the Moon. It is located in the southeastern part of the Moon's near side, and it is named after the Polish astronomer Jan Hendrik Dembowski. The crater is about 25 kilometers in diameter and has a prominent central peak. It is surrounded by a series of smaller craters, and it is thought to have formed as a result of an impact event that occurred during the early history of the Moon.
