Uncovering the Fossilized Remains of Triarthrus Trilobites

Triarthrus is a genus of extinct trilobites that lived during the Early to Middle Devonian period, around 416 to 393 million years ago. They were one of the most common and widespread trilobite genera of their time, with species found in Europe, North America, and Asia.

Triarthrus trilobites had a distinctive body shape, with a long, narrow cephalon (head) and a broad, flat pygidium (tail). They had a well-developed exoskeleton with a series of ridges and furrows, and their eyes were large and prominent.
