Understanding Flexion in the Human Body
Flexed refers to a position or state of being bent or curved. In the context of the human body, flexion refers to the movement of bending or curving a joint or limb in one direction. For example, bending your elbow to touch your hand to your shoulder is an act of flexion at the elbow joint. Similarly, bending your knee to sit down or lift something off the ground is an act of flexion at the knee joint.
In other contexts, flexed can also refer to a position or state of being bent or curved, such as a flexed muscle or a flexed wing.
