Understanding the Diameter of a Circle
The diameter of a circle is the distance across the circle, passing through its center. It is the longest possible distance between any two points on the circle. In other words, it is the length of a line that passes through the center of the circle and connects two points on the circle's edge.
For example, if you have a circle with a radius of 5 units, then the diameter of the circle would be the distance from one end of the circle to the other, passing through the center, which would be 10 units (twice the radius).
