Understanding the Relationship of a Grand-Aunt
A grand-aunt is the sister of one's grandparent. So, if your parent has a sibling who is also a parent (i.e., your grandparent), then that person is your grand-aunt. Similarly, if your grandparent has a sibling who is also a parent (i.e., your great-grandparent), then that person is your great-grand-aunt.
