What are Short-Celled Cells?
Short-celled refers to a cell or a group of cells that have a shorter duration of action potential compared to normal cells. In other words, the action potential of these cells is shorter in duration than what is considered normal.
This can occur due to various reasons such as changes in the ion channels, alterations in the membrane potential, or mutations in genes that regulate the ion channels. Short-celled cells may not be able to function properly and can lead to various diseases and disorders.
