What is a Quartro?
Quartos (plural of quarto) is an old measure of volume, commonly used in the 16th and 17th centuries. It was equal to one-fourth of a barrel or tun, which was a standard unit of measurement for liquids at that time.
In modern terms, a quarto would be equivalent to approximately 20 liters or 5.3 gallons. The term is still used in some contexts, such as in the wine industry, where it is sometimes used to describe the size of a cask or barrel.
