What is Heatable? Definition, Examples, and Properties
Heatable refers to something that can be heated or warmed up. In other words, it is a substance or object that can absorb and retain heat energy.
Examples of heatable materials include:
1. Liquids: Water, milk, tea, coffee, etc.
2. Solids: Food, metal, plastic, wood, etc.
3. Gases: Air, steam, etc.
In general, any substance or object that has a positive temperature coefficient of expansion (i.e., it expands when heated) can be considered heatable. However, some substances may not be suitable for heating due to factors such as melting point, thermal conductivity, and chemical stability.
