What is Risible?
Risible comes from the Latin word "risus," which means laughter. Something that is risible is capable of being laughed at or mocked. It can also refer to something that is absurd, ridiculous, or silly.
For example:
* The politician's proposal was so risible that everyone in the audience burst out laughing.
* The movie's special effects were so cheesy and over-the-top that they were risible.
* The student's attempt at a serious essay was ruined by all the typos and grammatical errors, making it risible.
