Incineration is the process of burning waste materials to produce heat, which can then be used to generate electricity or to provide hot water and steam for industrial processes. 5. Gasification incinerators: These use a gasification process to convert the waste into a synthetic gas (syngas) which can be used as a fuel for power generation or other industrial processes.
