What is a Cofunction?
Cofunction is a term used in mathematics to describe a function that has the same domain and range as another function, but is not necessarily equal to it. In other words, two functions are cofunctions if they have the same input-output relationship, but one of them might have a different formula or representation.
For example, the sine and cosine functions are cofunctions, because they both take the same input (an angle in radians) and produce the same output (a value between -1 and 1), but they have different formulas and representations.
Cofunctions are important in mathematics, particularly in trigonometry and calculus, where they are used to relate different functions and help solve problems.
