Zeroes of a Function: Understanding Solutions to Equations
Zeroes are the values of the variable that make the function equal to zero. In other words, they are the solutions to the equation.
For example, if we have the function f(x) = x^2 + 2x - 3, then the zeroes of the function are x = -1 and x = 2, because substituting x = -1 or x = 2 into the function results in f(x) = 0.
