Understanding Apostolical Teachings and Practices in Early Christianity

Apostolical means relating to or derived from the apostles, the original twelve disciples of Jesus Christ who were chosen by him to spread his teachings and perform miracles. The term can also refer to the teachings, beliefs, and practices that are considered to be in line with the teachings of the apostles and the early Christian communities they established.

An apostolical ministry might be one that is led by individuals who are considered to have a direct connection to the apostles and their teachings, such as bishops or other church leaders who are seen as successors to the apostles.
